DAY 1 : Trivandrum – Kovalam ( 15KM / 00.20 Hours )

Arrival at TRIVANDRUM airport / rly station, Meet our executive and Drive to Kovalam.( It is also known as the paradise of the south) proceed to explore the beauty of Kovalam beach. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse-sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, Catamaran cruising etc. The tropical sun acts so fast that one can see the faint blush of coppery tan on the skin in a matter of minutes. Life on the beach begins late in the day and carries on well into the night.Overnight at Kovalam.

DAY 2 : KOVALAM

After Breakfast, proceed to Trivandrum for the visit at Sri Padmanahbha swami temple, Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery in the morning. Rest of the day at leisure . Overnight at Kovalam.

DAY 3 : Kovalam – Aleppy Houseboat. 174kms | 4Hrs

After Breakfast, proceed to Aleppy ,Board on to the House boat: Check in to the Houseboat at 12.00 Noon. With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers criss-crossing it, Alleppey is referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers from across the world. This backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. House boat cruise through narrow canals– Virgin village-paddy fields-historical places – Temples – Snake boat – Coconut beer shop (Toddy shop) –
You may enjoy the splendid sunsets, Waxing moon lights, dreaming stars and of course the delicious foods cooked and served by us. [You are mostly invited to our kitchen in the House Boat, to learn and try the list of ingredients and instructions for making something, especially a traditional food dish of Kerala for the dinner or for the breakfast. If you are satisfied; don’t forget to note down the recipe and try it in future.]

NB : Terms and conditions for house boats :

(1.) Check in time is after 12 noon and check out time is 9 am.

(2.) A/c will be operated in 9.00 pm to 6.00 am

(3.) House boats will be anchored by 17.30 hrs and there will not be any cruise till 07.00 hrs due to govt restrictions (As per GOVT. Rule- Village people need to put the net in the lake r fishing).

(4.) Normal menu is fixed

(5) The Houseboat will be idle in the lake at Lunch Time. Overnight stay at Houseboat Visit R Block and C Block where paddy cultivated below sea level. Cruise through canals of Aleppey. The boat can stop some of the places and you can walk in the village to see and experience the village life – the best way to experience Aleppey backwaters in Houseboat.

Lunch, evening snacks, dinner and breakfast will be provided.

DAY 4 : KOCHI

After breakfast ,departure for Kochi. Visit Fort Kochi. Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Chinese Fish Nets etc Visit Marine Drive. Shopping at Kochi and drop at Kochi Airport/Rly station. Tour ends.
